I’m Kari (pronounced “Kuh-ree” or “curry”!) but I also go by the name KP and Panda.
I was born in London and grew up just on the outskirts of the city in the south of Hertfordshire (or as we like to call it “The Shire!”) and have a huge obsession with Disney, beauty and of course, all things travel!
Before creating Explorer Escapes I would constantly be scrolling through blog posts and Instagram feeds of fellow wanderers exploring new places and dreaming of how I can do the same.
Working in the legal industry means sometimes working well beyond the usual 9-5 hours, so I never thought it was possible to balance work and travels.
But not anymore!
I’ve strolled through palaces in Jaipur, been soaked under the Niagra Falls in Canada, stepped on the steep bricks of the Pyramids in Egypt, hugged orphaned elephants in Kenya and this is only the beginning.
I’m now finally proving to myself that it is possible to explore the world and I hope to show you it is possible too.
Explorer Escapes has one simple aim: to inspire working professionals to immerse themselves in their travels, all whilst balancing a full time job.
